Toastmaster Journey

It was claimed that besides death or some may even say their spouse to be the second most feared situation. Then public speaking is suppose to take on the first place. If you are anything like me, where I literally need to purge in the toilet for more than three times prior to any speech. Do not fret, cause there is a remedy to overcome your fear, be it psychological or physical.

Welcome, to my journey and experience of toastmastering. It all started with my ex-colleague that introduced the club chartered by the company with an objective of inculcating self improvement on public speaking. I was determined to learn fast forward on this program, regardless of its journey and challenges that I may encounter. Thus, I started my ice-breaker project almost immediately after becoming a member. The beauty of this program is the immediate evaluation given after your project speech. As the evaluator is also guided to encourage speaker, it thus boost our confidence as newbies in this program. The honesty of the review was good as most who join were sincere about improving their public speaking skills (thus same objective). It is inevitable that that we continue to pursue our projects.
